The State Fair of Texas is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28 and runs through Oct. 21. In addition to the great food and fun activities, you might also enjoy the Garden Show and informative gardening sessions from the experts during one of the Southern Living Speaker Series sessions. SGC Scrapbook for 2011-2012
The Sunnyvale Garden Club Scrapbook for the 2011-2012 year has been completed and is being shipped to Rachel Doyle. A digital version of the scrapbook is now available for viewing on the Creative Memories Digital Center. One of the great things about digital scrapbooks is that they can be viewed on your own computer and at your own leisure.

Dallas Council of Garden Clubs Meeting – 9/10/12
All District X Member Clubs, Officers, and Friends are invited to attend the Dallas Council of Garden Clubs first meeting of the 2012-2013 meeting year scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2012, at the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park. Light refreshments will be served at 11:30 a.m. with the Program and “President’s Tea” festivities starting at 12:15PM.
